CHANDERI LAMHE WITH KHADI- Nirmooha at Bangalore fashion week
India is a country that is rich in culture and history. As we move to a modern era, we give utmost regard to our traditions and roots, crafts being one of them. Nirmooha, the Mumbai based label, inculcates the culture and has transformed it into contemporary designs.
For many years of her existence in fashion world, Designer Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia has been inspired by the delicate craftsmanship and the roots of Indian heritage crafts.
Their present collection is inspired by the ancient Indian architecture and its rich and heritage culture. Another area of inspiration for the designer is the Vidharba region and the farmers of India.
Keeping these inspirations together, the brand has effortlessly converted them into
silhouettes and embroidery patterns and came up with her latest collection .The fabrics
used are Khadi and Chanderi, khadi being the main fabric. They have blended modern
cuts with delicate embroideries, and have tried to keep the collection very trendy and stylish.
The collection consists of hand embroidered pieces. The colour palette consists of very subtle and elegant colours.
