Day 3 at Vancouver Fashion Week- 20th September 2017

Vancouver Fashion Week, Day 3 showcased quite some trends on the runway. The night was dedicated to showcase local talents from Vancouver and Canada as a whole. VFW has a long and strong history of partnering with local design colleges to show the best student lines each season. This year, Vancouver Community College showcased their student’s best looks on runway.

VFW also saw designers like Akoya with her range of swimwear. Madame Katrina displayed an edgy leather collection whilst Atelier Guari gave formal wear a new definition. The collection tallied this season’s trends highlighting drawstrings, ruffles, power shoulders and defined waistlines.

Mounton Blanc brought to the ramp a new look with Devoré outfits and bold deconstructions. The looks were a blend of soft-flowy to detailed-structured silhouettes, transitioning from black to white.

The day also saw an array of beauty trends, from smeared smokey eyes to gelled hair, braids and colour blocked faces. Here’s an insight to Day 3 top look:
