Bri Oglu, the amazing American Singer

Bri Oglu is a singer-songwriter and actor based out of Echo Park, CA. She is known for her incredibly unique, sultry vocal quality and honest but subtle acting style. She briefly studied vocal technique under well-known Opera singer Harold Meers, but is otherwise self taught. "My grandmother was a vocalist and music teacher for 40 years and a legend in our town. I listened to her and a variety of singers I idolized growing up and figured out what worked for me." Bri’s influences are Anne Wilson, Idina Menzel, Celine Dion, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Adele, Sia & Etta James. Bri’s abilities have caught the attention of esteemed musician Carey Frank (Tedeschi Trucks Band) who raves of her musical ability stating "Bri's voice is a perfect mix of jazz, blues, soul and RnB, evenly fusing all genres in her performances and song-writing. I was honored to work with her on this project."

Bri also has a knack for acting. She received a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University and has studied under esteemed coaches Doug Warhit, Stan Kirsch & Tom Quinn. She has starred in numerous indie Films including CAPTAIN HAGEN’S BED & BREAKFAST, set to premiere at the 2018 Hampton’s International Film Festival in New York. "Bri is a gifted actress in BOTH drama and comedy." - Doug Warhit In 2016, she wrote/directed/starred in a short entitled SAME LOVE that won numerous awards in the film festival circuit including "Best Drama Short" in the Hollywood Moving Pictures Film Festival. She also recently co-wrote a feature film entitled MAD LOVE with Carl Reid ("CLOSURE" starring Aubrey Plaza) set to star Carlos Pratts (McFarland USA) and begin production in 2018.
